Sue Pulls the (Butt) Plug

There wasn't any advanced notice, but Sue will be airing her final show this Sunday on the Oxygen network. I have mixed emotions. Three years ago, Sue and I had a bit of a falling out. Surprisingly, she is continuing to appear at speaking engagements, though if my last experience was any indication, she is past her prime. The past few years aside, though, you got to hand it to the lady - she's a pioneer in sex education. She has been my idol, and if it wasn't for our many Sunday nights together (with the volume turned down real low), I don't think I'd be the person I am now. The way she gave information was honest, funny, gross, and real. She did not have any hidden agendas, no political stance, it was just information - as much information she could squeeze into 40 minutes. I'm so happy that I managed to get myself on her show before she signed off for the last time (I predict with a lame condom joke). I am still sore that she moved her show to an American network, and most of us on this side of the border did not have access to her show. However, that's a small glitch in a lifetime of super, sexy, awesomeness.

Yeah, I sort of stopped loving her so much after she left, but you make good points. I saw her at UNB, and an alarming number of people asked about pussy farts. She answered the first few, and then was like, ok...I think we've covered this one...

I saw this news yesterday as well and felt a little sad. It's nice to know she plans to do radio again though.
I think Sue is a right of passage for all Canadians.. I don't think I have a single friend who didn't secretly watch the sunday night sex show late at night. I remember having a sleepover one time and we were watching. That was the night I first heard the term "fisting".
